Laurent Manhes is European Automotive Wired Networking Segment Manager and Staff Embedded Solutions Engineer at Microchip Technology. As part of the Automotive Wired Networking Field Application team, he drives customer engagements, proof-of-concept development, technical support, new product definition, and business development for Single Pair Ethernet solutions from 10 Mb/s to multi-Gb/s, including PHYs, switches, bridges, and Endpoints. With over 20 years of experience from digital design and system architecture for automotive ASICs/ASSPs to product marketing and field applications on connectivity — Laurent has deep expertise in in-vehicle networking for high-computing platforms, zonal architectures, head units, telematics, lighting, audio, and control endpoints. He has led Microchip’s European wired networking function group since 2019. Laurent holds a degree in Microelectronic Systems Engineering and Automation from Polytech University of Montpellier, France.
